Best spot in Watamu for drinks, coffee or lunch, with a gorgeous view of the Marine Park. Good spot to watch international sports on TV too and surf the internet on their WiFi.

Ocean Sports, or 'open shorts' as it was once colloquially known, is a decent quality beachside hotel with a bar frequented by locals. I've not stayed in the rooms but enjoyed the bar during trips over several years. Sport fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving can all be arranged. The hotel is a reasonable budget compared to 5* Hemmingway resort next door. Turtle Bay beach is clean and sheltered with good snorkeling, but bear in mind that the beach is covered in seaweed and flotsam for 6 months of the year due to the monsoon.

We didn't stay here but spoke to a few people that did and they gave it great reviews. This is the place to book all your fishing and scuba excursions. We had a great experience on our fishing trip aboard the Snark. And the restaurant here serves an amazing fish and chips.

Good place for relaxing as it is close to the sea. Deep fishing can be arranged or take a smaller boat with a glass floor and enjoy looking down at the ocean. Local guides can also take you into the Sea when the tide is out and enjoy seeing them on bare feet. Nice service.
