One of the most quiet places in the busy city of Nairobi, an awesome point to have personal meditation and prayers. Few wild animals can still be found within the forest especially monkeys and snakes.
Cool place. Touching base with nature. If you want to relief stress, breathe fresh air, visit.
Ngong forest reserve is a good place that harbours a variety of fauna and flora, birds species are over 500 and the indegineous tree species are quite many.
This forest and many more other forests that faces deforestation need be gazetted and protected from the destructive anthropogenic factors.
Visit the forest and be inspired to conserve the trees near you.
Very cool/calm/relaxed environment. Perfect for a picnic, party (be it birthday or wedding). You will enjoy every second of your life you spent here.
A great place to take a walk and or jog through. You will see both the Columbus and grey velvet monkeys. Plenty of bird too.
Have an open mind, a dikdik can appear from the thickets!
Really nice place to unwind. Lots of birds to see in the evening. Lovely nature trails with giraffes warthogs to be seen. If you love nature and outdoors, make a visit. You will enjoy getting a kiss from a giraffe :)
Seren place. One can enjoy taking a walk through it.
Great place to get away from the town crowd
A great place to be in. The management and staff are doing a great job in making the place better, they are friendly and responsive at all times.
An urban forest with lots of birds and some monkeys and a source of some rivers.
The Bee-keeping Centre and Ngong Forest Primary School are located nearby. It is here that a dog rose to acclaim for rescuing a newborn baby.
Cool and cold place dpisaay
Great place for a hike or run or cycle
Great & serene place to connect with nature, taake silent walks in the forest and relaxing to recharge social battery
Nice natural forest, great place for a picnic or a morning run. Access is a bit tricky. Charges are reasonable
Always great to be here. I used the main road through Kibera and felt a bit sad because of the running down of the place (from the 1990s looks), came out through the Ngong racecourse road via Jamuhuri Park. Good afternoon well spent. I cannot visit Nairobi and fail to check out this beauty spot (Rowallan Scouts Camp), unless i have only one hour.

If you want to get in touch with nature this is the place. There's a trail for walking and biking. Great outdoor spaces for camping as well. You forget that you're in the city
