There's the theoretical " Stress Free Moving" we hear a lot everywhere; then there's the REAL deal.
Very pleased with an excellent job done by Nellions. After having lived the same house >15 years was rather worried about the logistics around moving.
In summary, wowed by great service all round ☆☆☆☆☆ very clean custom made moving trucks, timely start, delicate packaging & handling, neat set up. Zero scratches, breakage, loss etc.
On the day after the move, you wake up comfortable knowing where all your items are.
Truly professional & the real stress free. 👍

I can't praise this company highly enough. First, when I said I had a last-minute move, they were at my door within 1 hour to look at the house. The next day I had by far the lowest quote of those I'd gathered (by over USD 100). They didn't just arrive to the building on time, they actually got there early so they had time to talk to the security guards and figure out where to put the truck and get it into position so that they knocked on my door at exactly the hour agreed. They were a small team, but it was a small move, so that was appropriate, although I noted that it also made it easier to ensure none of my stuff went "missing" (which nothing did).

I needed to store a bed, and they advised boxing it, to which I said okay, thinking they had really large boxes. Actually they bring a huge roll of corrugated cardboard and wrap every inch of the bed in it. It was incredibly thorough (and yes, it took a LONG time).

Once the bed was packed I noted they weren't just gentle moving my belongings, but also very attentive to the position of light fixtures and corners so as not to knock anything. I really did not expect this much professionalism from their team and was super impressed with it. Even their driver (I rode in the truck) was extremely careful on bumps.

FYI: If you have items in bags or just saran-wrapped or whatever together, they've got spare boxes in the back of the truck that they'll put all that stuff in to make it easier to carry. Then when you arrive at your destination they'll take all your stuff out and take those boxes back.

If I have any recommendations for Nellions it would just to be to give their workers better tools to make their lives easier: drill guns, electric screwdrivers, tape guns, retractable utility knives, etc., and a good sturdy toolbox to carry it all in.

Overall, though, I really cannot recommend Nellions enough. I would never hesitate to move with this company again and am so glad I have found a company to take the worry out of future moves!

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Cosmos and his team twice, when arriving in Kenya and leaving. His company are very professional and they are very valuable when dealing with customs officials. I have no doubt they saved me a lot of time and money, and I highly recommend them to anyone moving goods in and out of Kenya.

Any time you think of moving or relocating just call Nellions. Simple, efficient and trustworthy. It was worth the time and effort to have a seamless move that ensured my kids left for school in one house and returned from school into a new house complete and set up to do their homework, just like they had left their rooms that morning.
I was very impressed and had time to even prepare a meal and cup of tea even before the last box was unpacked. thanks for a wonderful move.

My experience with Nellions in my house move was very pleasant. The single important thing that made a big difference is conducting a pre-packing a day before the move. This helped us have time the following day to move to the new location, and in addition time to unpack. Having started the move at 8am, we were through by 4pm - having unpacked everything, connected all the appliances, making sure all the curtains were up and all the bedrooms were setup. The staff were also very professional. I would recommend Nellions to anyone wishing to use professional movers - easy and convenient.

I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism shown by the team. To begin with the lady whom i spoke to on phone, Everlyn, was very pleasant, courteous and prompt in responding to my queries. On the day itself a team of young and energetic staff were at my house by 9.15am. The team leader was a refined lady who introduced the team members and the next thing i knew everything was done so swiftly. By exactly 2.20pm they had completed the whole job of packing, moving house, unpacking etc. And to top it all i was given a lunch voucher for two which i promptly used. Another little detail to mention is how impressed i was by the follow up call from their office to check how i had settled in and whether i was satisfied. These are people who definitely love their job and are well trained.

Beautiful people doing a beautiful job. Prompt, very good communicators, photographic memory, careful packaging and placement after the move. Settling in was so seamless I even got a chance to drop by the office for two hours. Then ofcourse, the food voucher that had my family fed the very same evening! Nellions is a great company from a customer stand point.
Very Impressed #1 (Prompt): During my first interaction I asked could they get to my apartment and give me a moving quote 30 minutes from when I called. As a little bit of background, I had a rival company scheduled to show up at the time I requested. Nellions representatives arrived before the rivals with whom I made arrangements the previous day.
Very Impressed #2 (Timely): The day of the move they were to arrive at 8 am, they were 15 minutes early with a crew ensemble.
Very Impressed #3 (Self-control): I baked cookies, but NO ONE would eat until they moved ALL of my things into the truck.
Very Impressed #4 (Courteous to a person): Each representative with whom I interacted was awesome as a human.
Very Impressed #5 (Thoughtful): I assumed incorrectly that some possession of mine was missing several days after the move. I called the move captain (Naomi) and she made plans to visit the following work day (after asking her associates about the items I thought were missing). I found my stuff before then and thanked her for her thoughtfulness.
Very Impressed #6 (Considerate/Unselfish): I asked for a painter (as this is a service they offer). Their painters were all on jobs, so the point man (Paul Olweny) referred me to a painter not employed by the company. This painter is doing an amazing job.

We moved house in early December 2016. A survey team visited us before the actual date and we discussed and agreed on all the details. On the material day, the team arrived before the agreed time! We had an introduction session with each team specifying exactly what their role was during the move. Packing was done carefully in proper moving crates (like in the movies) which were well labelled so there were no mix ups at the new house. Fragile items and furniture were wrapped in thick blankets. Even the rooms in both houses were labelled as well. The truck looked clean and well maintained. We were impressed by the crew cabin - so there would be no crew sitting on mattresses on the truck as it drove through neighbourhood.
Unpacking was professionally done with all items going to the right positions in the new house. We slept in our beds on the first night after the move and had a free meal as well! The team was very friendly and they sought direction and feedback at every step. This move was easy! I recommend Nellions to anyone who is looking to move hassle free.
