Nice hotel. In a serene environment. There are rooms which are about 15 minutes away by car. Few single rooms. If you like ugali forget about it. It was cold but nice.

A great spot. A bit run down these days but a lovely spot for a beer. The rooms could do with updating but are perfectly comfortable. The river is lovely.

If you’re looking for serenity and beauty then this is the place for you. The area is a bit dry and hot but where the lodge is so cool and green. Their breakfast menu is also great, they offer it for hotel guests and others but one must alert the lodge first.

    DON'T DARE GO HERE!

During our stay, a member of staff tried to steal stuff from our room when he thought we'd gone out for dinner. Only we hadn't and we were in the room.

    Shocking experience.

Another couple wasn't so lucky and lost electronics and car keys. Despite reporting and even talking to the cops, the offending member of staff had not been arrested by the time we left on the third day.

We had to pay one of the guards to stand guard outside our room for us to go for dinner the second night since there was a blackout - and they had no generator.

What's worse, we were unable to talk to the manager the whole time as he was nowhere in sight.

The food is drab, at best.

    Go at your own risk.

Restaurant and service was top class, also surroundings. Standard on rooms seem a bit dated and need of refurbish.
