  It used to be a National Mixed secondary school earlier on and has now been split into two schools: Nakuru Boys High School and Nakuru Girls High School. The school was also known as European School before the independence of Kenya.
  
  Has had brilliant academic students in Kenya and was a great basketball and rugby playing school.
