One of the two biggest malls in Mombasa set up in the affluent neighborhood of Nyali. Nakumatt itself has fallen and the stalls are close to empty. However the mall is still vibrant owing to the good eateries, entertainment joints and shops.

It's a shame that this branch of Nakumatt, arguably the best in Mombasa, was closed down two weeks back. The city mall has other shops and eating places too. The mall has elevators as well as escalators for those that can't use the stairs. There is ample parking available. The guards at the entrance can sometimes be annoying and petty- but I guess that's important to ensure the shoppers remain safe.
