I work within this mall. Strategically located, ample basement parking. Needs more services within it and children's play area to make it all rounded as a family go-to place.

Convenient place to do shopping. Although they should improve on security as well as parking as well installing more lights in the basement and customer care.

As with any realtor, they always talk of location, location, location. Access to this mall favours anyone on foot or bike or one using public means. With the main access bring exit 7 on Thinks Road, this mall will perhaps serve mostly people on Garden Estate and the neighboring estates. It is a small mall by current standards and I'd packed with shops that can make you shop everything under one roof. I hear it even has a church at the roof top; can't help but imagine the kind of noise experienced here on church days. With Garden City just across the road, I bet the clientele is split based on other factors other than the access to their respective mall premises. All in all, I have only gone to this mall because of Naivas supermarket; they stock a product that other supermarkets in the vicinity do not.

It's a good place with a variety of shopping experiences. The parking fee starts charging from 0 minutes even if you do not do any shopping. This is contributing to lessening of the number of shoppers around. The kids corner is averagely equipped but the most exciting place is the cinemax theater and game shopping store.

Mountain Mall is strategically located just off Thika Road's Exit 7. Houses Naivas Supermarket, National Bank, a pharmacy, a clothes' store, liquor store amongst other outlets. It however doesn't offer a wide array of amenities that are crucial to making a mall convenient. Variety in a mall is key, you just won't get that Mountain Mall. Though it has an underground parking, I find it poorly planned for you to navigate and also poorly lit. If you're looking to make a quick shopping on your way along Thika Road, then you'll get a quick solution. However, it certainly is not a place where you'll easily do your out and out family afternoon shopping. For that, I'll give it 3-stars

All shops in one. Parking area has a car wash area, it's a beautiful place to come shopping. It does not have a play area for kids to be entertained while you shop. It has a restaurant and a bar.

While here you get a chance to do your shopping at the well stocked Naivas supermarket. There is an ATM machine just outside the building so interns of withdrawal of your cash you are taken care of. There are many shops that allow you to do pretty much all the shopping you desire.

We find almost all kinds of good food, and fresh. But some vegetables have too much chemical fertilizer and cause gases, like celeri green recently. The beef meat seems to have the diseases of European beef, causing constipation and a feeling of hemorrhoids.

On the hot days we bought UHT milk which should be good for weeks more, but came half thick out of the package. The cheap milk. May be a factory problem. Now I don't buy that any more.

Great choice of very good rice products, maize, flour, sugar. Washing powder is o.k.

We also find the non-iodated sea salt. I take iodated salt just in smaller amounts, my thyroid gland pains when I take too much, but I take more when I eat arrow-root because that inhibits the uptake of iodine considerably and before I knew that, I got a bit of goiter from eating arrow-root.

The people who have special offers of crisps or other products are often lucky with us, we buy the special offer products and try them.

On the upper floor we found some good products like electric and electronic devices. We bought very big cups that became our favorite to use every day.

But the kitchen knives we bought are not of good quality.

And trying to find table mats, the material was catstrophic. Waste products cut wrong, hidden under one beautiful mat. No good serious product to be found. We wanted some for using every day, washable and durable and big enough and with a decent decoration. There was just rubbish. We would pay a good price for useful ones.

The mall hosts Naivas Supermarket which has a deli, a fresh food section, butchery and dairy section. Their boerwoer hotdogs are yummy. There is a pub in the mall but I've never been there. Their packing is kinda retrogressive but you will manage

Has a roof top club, a major supermarket and other smaller outlets for food and clothing. Has a great parking both in the premise and outside. The roof top club sometimes plays good mugithi songs with kikuyu musicians and guests. One of the best places to enjoy one of the largest Kenyan tribe's culture.

Mountain mall famously known as Naivas one of the anchor tenants in the mall.
The mall has a pharmacy open from 8:30-9:00 a supermarket open from 8:00-9:00 and a bar open from 9:00 till late. The bar known as maxland has live music from various artist.
The supermarket down stairs sorts all your need from fast consumer goods (FCG) furniture and electronics.
The pharmacy has lovely customer service and treat you like the patient you are.

Service at the supermarket (Naivas) on ground level was okay - could have been better if checkout at the tills was faster (queues) were quite long and proceeding rather slowly

Basement parking at this facility is quite wanting - spaces too squeezed and entry/exit ramp too steep; it was clearly not designed for low motor vehicles or those kitted

Public restrooms are free (hooray) a departure from many malls where one has to pay to use facilities; floor was little wet when I used the faculty - it could do with regular checks
