  Mount Kenya adventure is full of wealth, Learning the history of Kenya, culture of the communities around numerous Flora, Fauna & Avifauna are interesting beside climbing a mountain referred to as Sacred.

  Amazing experience! I climbed in Feb 2017. I recommend the extra one day to acclimatize at 4200m at Shipton Camp. It helped us a lot. The 22km hike down to Chogoria is very tiring (immediately after summitting) but breathtaking (scenery looks like its out of Lord of the Rings movie?). I will remember this for long.
  The only bad memory is the "chalets" and "facilities". I thought the accommodation is pretty shocking given the amount we paid for the park fees! KWS do something please
