Miles and Hope

Miles and Hope is an International Christian Center Initiative pioneered by the Crosspoint (Young Professionals) and Sports ministries. It is anchored on ICC's strategic goal #4 on Social Transformation as well as ICC’s mission component of changing the world. We believe the extra mile to change the world begins with us.

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” - Micah 6:8.

The key motivation behind Miles and hope is to get teams of young professionals to grow together and creatively raise funds to go towards sponsoring 10 Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) in ICC’s Jabali Christian Schools every year.

ICC has a goal through Jabali of sponsoring 20% of the School’s population and hence give opportunity to kids from disadvantaged backgrounds to access quality and wholesome Christian education.

This initiative is possible through Zinduka Afrika (ICC’s NGO) that runs various community outreach programs among which is the identification of OVCs to come under the sponsorship program. Currently ICC has sponsored 4 kids in Jabali School and the goal of Miles and Hope is to increase this number by 10 in January 2018.
