  Small sleepy town about 30minutes away from Meru CBD. Had an event at the Sub County Hospital. Typical Kenyan town centre filled with shops, motorbike riders and mud from the rains.

  THE BEST NYAMA CHOMA AND NYAMA CHEMSHA IS FOUND IN TAPPERS RESTAURANT IN MIKINDURI. the restaurant has access to dstv, accomodation, drinks, and meeting halls
  MIKINDURI IS SOMEHOW REMOTE area but it has decent recreational facilities such as guest house, tappers restaurant, clubs and shops.
  The place has quite an active population in creation of wealth, people engage mostly in trading, transport and banking. Despite being a small market centre away from meru town, which is the nearby big town, is very busy and has alot of banking institutions such as bimas, kenya women finance trust, among others

  Its a countryside market.Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The surrounding area is evergreen with lots of trees and forest. The major economic activity is tea farming.
