  This particular climb was tough because we finished the hike from a really steep area. Thank God for my sweet boyfriend and our able local harder.

  Much improvement from the 1st time I went there years ago. There is a huge young forest now. There is a shade where you can do your picnic and a restaurant. You can walk down to the base of the crater if that's your fancy.

  My boyfriend and I Hiked the crater and it took us a total of 4 hours to go into the Caldera and up the cliff. It was such a steep climb as we used a different route to exit from the one we used to enter the Caldera. Loved the experience, however tough it was. You can actually hike it by yourself without necessarily having to pay the local guides a fee of USD 30.00, which to me is too much.

  The view is just stunning and breathtaking. A must go place in Nakuru. It is especially more enjoyable if you go with friends. The distance from the gate is not for the faint hearted but definitely worth your while. It didn't disappoint even one bit. Definitely an adventure of a lifetime.

  The view is amazing! There was a bit of a haze on one side of the crater, north west. You even get a nice view of the city below as well. Would love to hike it and experience being in the crater. Glad I had on light colors and light material because the sun is blazing up there. Sunscreen and shades are a must for westerners

  Lovely view from the top of the crater. But the best experience is to go down into the crater and attempt to climb out on a steep cliff near the view point. That round trip can take you 2 - 3 hours depending on fitness.
