Matharu shopping center is a medium sized shopping center. Here you can get many variety of farm products and shops generally. You can get carrots potatoes in plenty, minji that is peas veans6 and many other products. Its good to buy these products as you pass by. Take care though as you buy the potatoes placed in the buckets. They may be empty on the inside

A good place to stop and but fresh vegetables. The cohesion that now exists here is amazing. It was badly affected by inter-tribal clashes in 2008. The place is now peaceful but extremely cold! Temperatures easily reach 11 degrees from 5 in the evening. Park far from the road to avoid the hazard of speeding vehicles as you get out of your vehicle. And leave a tip for the amazing vendors!
