Maralal international derby is hosted each year by the Samburu county government in partnership with the local community and several stake holders. The event is held in Samburu county and entails camel race, a marathon, cycling and wheelchair race. It also attracts 4by4 enthusiasts who travel from as far as Nairobi to attend the event and explore the beautiful areas like view of the great rift valley from Malaso point and also the wildlife In the area.

Maralal Camel Derby is in Samburu county and Camel racing is done on August each year! Its a place to be!!
