  Auf Mbarak Hinawy Road befindet sich die älteste Moschee in Mombasa: Mandhry Moschee. Sie stammt aus dem Jahr 1570. Sie ist auch weiter als Moschee genutzt und für Touristen-Gruppen nicht verfügbar.

  One of, if not the oldest, historic mosques situated in Mombasa's Old Town.
  This mosque is quite unique in that it's a mini museum of sorts. Old hand written Quranic manuscripts dated hundreds of years ago have been preserved and put on display.
  Original architecture, including the minaret, as well as portions of the original doors and windows have been very well maintained.
  Tours are conducted every afternoon after Asr prayers (after 4pm). Modest dressing is a must.
