The hostels are moderately clean but receive very little repairs. Some rooms are very old and broken. Some of the rooms are also infested with bedbugs although fumigation is available for a fee.

This is one of the best hostels in the university of Nairobi. It houses the College of Architecture and Engineering senior students. However, it requires good rails along the balconies to prevent accidental falls.
