A place worth spending your entire life
This is not a hotel:
This was a home stay. The lady lives down stairs and we were given a room upstairs.
No signs on the door and made it dificult for us to find it.the address does not have street number.
There is no lift and The stair case to first floor is very narrow which makes it hard to carry large suitcases.
No bar or restaurant available.they only serve breakfast.
There is no fridge in the room.
We could not eat and try the full breakfast due to our early outbound flight. The lady gave us a banana and orange each.
The toilet flush was faulty and internet did not work in Second floor.
We got there in the afternoon and releasied there is not facility to eat lunch so had to take a taxi to a nearby shopping village and eat at the cafe there.
Paying $70 usd in Nairobi I would expect a lot better service and quality.
The window was left open before we got there to let air in and we didnt realise until later that there is no fly screen and a few mosqituoes got in.
There are a few small shops made out of wood and tin exactly opposite the property which sell soft drinks and fruit and we could hear loud talking and yelling until 10 pm at night.
There is only one small light in the middle for the whole toom and we struggled as our bed was located away from the window with three solid walls around it and very little light.
Good for visiting.
