Had a really bad experience there on boxing day. We were required to pay for 'buffet' at the entrance which we did in good faith only to find out later that in the said buffet one could only pick one starch and one protein! and this for ksh 1500?? We asked for a refund and left.

This is so unfortunate considering the location is nice and we had previously enjoyed quad bike rides there.

An awesome gateway which will give you a serene feeling. So many activities to choose from: such as riding the 4 wheeled bikes, swimming among other activities going on all day long. Plus, sweet accommodation is always availableand if you've never seen a wild animal before, just look out your window and you'll see a tribe of buffaloes, gazelles or giraffes walking majestically around the environs. But, you're not alone, the highly praised Daystar University is just 2 KM away.
And now, you can take a 4 hour train ride to Mombasa if you commute to Syokimau, a few KMs away.
