We had incredible safari experiences here; even in what is traditionally low season we saw so much, and our guide/driver - Moses - was phenomenal.
The camp itself is nice, though feels a little basic for a place that bills itself as luxury - the furniture in the tents is pretty standard, and a little clunky, and the beautiful decks on the front of each tent are diminished slightly by the austere and functional feel of the basic "2 chairs and a small table" approach.
I feel there's a fair amount of untapped potential here, although this is somewhat compensated for by a friendly and accommodating staff. Duncan, one of the waiters, and Kennedy, a barman, along with the two ladies who run reception, deserve special mentions for being highlights of our stay, while George - who runs the place - is also lovely to chat with, and very welcoming.
Overall, we had a great time here because the safari was so exceptional, but I think the camp itself may be a little tired and could use an injection of fresh energy!
Absolutely loved our stay at Little Governors! The staff were so warm and friendly. Our guide (Collins) was exceptional! Enjoyed being entertained by the Pumba family and the occasional Blossom visits. We had a magical safari experience. Can't wait to go back!
Excellent place to take a safari. Perfect staff excellent food and very comfortable tent.
Best place for balloon safaris in the Mara!
one of the best lodges i've been to. welcoming staff, amaizing meals and plenty of game. going for a return trip soon.
One of my best experiences ever. Everyone should try it!
Excellent place worth paying a visit
Great camp. Fantastic experience
One of the best safari camps in Kenya. Excellence and beauty.
The tents were impresionable, the best tents I've never seen. But it is build in the middle of a elephants route and that makes a lot of problems
Fantastic Lodges right on the edge of a swamp with buffalo, hippo's etc. Great food and friendly staff. Animals in the camp every day.
A real gem. Surrounded by the most amazing animals. Love the hippos bellowing at night!
