This place should be your first hotel when you visit Kisumu. The food was fabulous. I love their fish and samosas. Wonderful breakfast. They have good wifi that got quite crowded during the day. The staff is amazing.

This was by far the most enjoyable experience From the friendly staff to the wonder breakfast.

I stayed in the newly renovated section and it was marvelous. It included air conditioning, a functioning toilet with a lavish bathroom/bedroom, and free wifi.

I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

I enjoyed their meals. Pocket friendly food price.
It was disappointing though to hear 4 staff at reception engage in mother tongue as we were leaving.
The waiter ( an elderly gentleman) was very professional and actually did proper handover by introducing us to his lady colleague as he left for the day.
No music..especially on a Sunday.

Standards have dropped, but price has been raised for a room in the new apartments. Cleanliness has never been a problem before but there were a number of issues in various areas of the lodge, and in two different rooms. Breakfast is never ready at 6:30 am as advertised but this trip it was appalling late. Staff are very friendly and do their best but the upper management needs an overhaul. (April, 2017)
