The best experience in a long time: has the coolest relaxing launch, good view of the lake, quality food and all time hot shower. Its the right place to be.

Situated in next to lake elementaita in Nakuru county, run by NYS its a good get away from home.
Surrounded NY beautiful vegetation which I'd well kept.

Exploitative, highly overpriced for level of "service and amenities provided". They charge for 5 star service and provide less than 1 star service. House keeping is terrible and hot shower water is Ltd to two hours if you are lucky. Cannot even communicate with administration as desk staff in the lodge block you from contacting marketing or ceo

I went to Pelican for some sort of RnR and some self reflection, it was just what i needed in a relaxing room with rustic decor and nice food. The icing on the cake was waking up to the sound of birds chirping. You should try it for a getaway from the city, what's more is that it's about 1.5hrs from Nbi.

The hotel is at the shores of Lake Elementaita (Gilgil) and so the view is amazing, especially if you stay at their lake view cottages (you can see the pelicans and flamingos float around in formation). The rooms are pretty standard but their cottages are spacious, colorful with awesome comfortable beds (and skylight showers). It's super quiet here, so if you're looking for a retreat away from the city this is the place for you (the serene feel to this place is magical). But it's no place for children as they don't have any activities for them (or for any active adult) other than swimming (in a very small pool). I loved the fact they have access to the lake because you can take long morning or evening walks with your loved ones (or alone however you'd want to). Plus if you request, they do serve breakfast and/or lunch at the lakeside. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. The food was quite boring and plain. Little variety and some dishes were bland. I think they could do better in that regard.

Location : Great view of the Lake, quite environment, perfect for relaxation.

Reception : Not very well done, the reception staff can be unprofessional and there is poor communication between the head office and the lodge, mixing up reservation details.

Food: Good, tasty but not anything spectacular.

Rooms: Spacious but poor ventilation, making them hot and humid, no AC or ceiling fans available. The bathrooms lack antislip mats as well as shower curtains making water spill all over the place. Hot water is rationed as they use a charcoal boiler to heat up the water before its pumped to the rooms, only have 2 hours of hot water in the morning, 2 in the evening and 1 at night. Also no TV or WiFi in the rooms, no wardrobe or work table as well.

Service: Waiters are helpful, but all seemed not to know a lot about the various services available at the lodge. Mostly unprofessional.

Overall: The view of the lake is spectacular, the food is good enough, its a great place for an afternoon lunch by the lake, but for accommodation I'd look elsewhere.

Great for family ,for teams too. So serene. I liked their fresh juices. The food was soo fresh.
Less congested and I like the idea of flats and also separate luxury houses depending on guests preference.
    Great night and day .
I like the idea of the Lake nearby for evening and early morning views or lakeside walk.

The scenery is amazing. I enjoyed two hours of being there. The road though to access Sirville is not that good.

During the night, the moon shone bright and beautiful and at the horizon she kissed her lover, earth. In lieu of the common ground was the calm waters of Lake Elementaita. I looked at the glorious beauty before my eyes one more time and allowed it to consume me for at that moment it was better than the Cold reality that is life.
