Laisamis Technical Training Institute is a public institution established and registered under the TVET Act (cap 17, laws of Kenya). The Institute is one of the TVET institutions charged with the mandate of training middle level technical and vocational labor force. Its mandated to fulfill the vision of TVET that is "to provide a competitive market driven TVET system delivering competent workforce for sustainable development."
