A young upcoming and growing business center with a Church (Kioge Catholic Church), School and a dispensary. The place is fertile with good climate (Kisii Highland). This place is characterized by small business activities going on especially in the evening. Women selling small round handful sized doughnuts of made from baked maize flour instead of wheat flour. The locals here (Gusii people) call these doughnuts "ebitungurumu"
