  With my family numbering 4 adults and 5 children (range 15yrs to 2 yrs old) we decided to take a break in Mombasa my home town. Having used Ketty Tours in the past we had no hesitation booking our 2 days of Safari with them. They recommended one night at Saravo Taita Hills in West Tsavo and one night at Aruba Ashli in East Tsavo
  We were collected at 8 am on Thursday 22/12 and we returned home at 4 pm on Saturday 24/12
  As my daughter said 'this is the best holiday we have had'
  The grandkids managed to see all the wild life they had hoped to see including - Lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impala, water bucks etc
  The driver and the guide called Saleh Karama was just excellent. Courteous, accommodating and extremely pleasant. He has been doing this job with KTs for 22 years. The most remarkable thing about this man is that he definitely has bionic eyes! Without him we would not have seen the cheetah deep in the bushes and one sitting in the ditch next to the roadside and some of the lions tucked away lying next to the water pond
  It was interesting to see that other guides from various other companies carrying tourists were seeking information from Saleh
  If you do decide to take a similar trip do insist on Saleh being your guide
  Saleh also pointed out various other reptiles and birds that we can across. His knowledge base is obviously admirable e.g. for each animal he would tell us their average weight, their life expectancy and their gestation period. I recall him showing me the yellow necked spurfowl by the roadside and telling me to look up 'page 24 no 22' in a book Collins Field Guide - Birds of East Africa that he had a copy of with him
  We thank Ketty Tours for arranging all our requirements with the game lodges including the need for interconnecting rooms at both places. On the second day we went for breakfast after the early morning game hunting ride to Saravo Salt Lick lodge, Saravo's other lodge locally,, at no extra cost
