My wife and I booked this trip 2 weeks before our departure. We visited Kenya and did a safari trip with Kenya safaris holiday (current name is - journeysbeyondafrica)
Simon is the tour operator and I’ve been talking to him daily for 2 weeks. He is extremely accommodating and would do all the research that we want and get back to me. He is very professional and extremely helpful. After booking everything we changed our hotels/itinerary etc but he never said no to anything and accommodated all our requests
Lastly, our guide Peter was amazing. He was with us for all 7 days and he is just amazing. He is patient, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We spotted everything and Peter played a huge part in it. Peter has been doing this for over 10 years and he is very experienced with everything. He even knows the hotel staff and their drivers which makes it easy to communicate when you are on a game drive if they spot something else. We throughly enjoyed with Peter. We got more than our expectations from him and Simon.
If you are doing a long driving safari and jumping place to place within Kenya then look no further and book with Simon and ask for PETER!!

Me and my husband had a whole day safari at Nairobi National Park with Kenya Safari Holidays.
Booking with Simon went on smoothly and efficiently. He always answered my questions promptly and was very friendly and helpful. Our departure from our Nairobi hotel was as early as at 5.30 AM, so our hotel couldn´t offer us any lunch boxes, Simon arranged us some snacks, fruits and coffee for lunch, that was perfect.
Our diver/guide Peter was great. He was very friendly and knew the park well.

I am so happy with the holiday in 2019 with Kenya Safaris. The route, the guidance, the hotels and the Service was excellente. I will always choose this Service. Simon care about us and about our journey!

We live in Russia and (given the fact that we communicate with a lot) we have absolutely no acquaintances who have visited Kenya and safari in Kenya. Therefore, it was very difficult for us to choose a company that will deal with our safari! Because there is no one to get recommendations!
As a result, I began to write inquiries to 7-8 firms at prices. I suggested a program that I once spied on Vinsky's forum. All these companies offered me the same plus / minus price, BUT Simon (Kenya Safaris Holiday) not only offered the price slightly lower than others, but also suggested other hotels on the safari route! More cool !!!! That is, as a result, we got a price lower than that offered by other companies, and hotels are better!
Simon was the fastest in answering questions :) I really liked it! And for every question I got an answer! Also in the photo of the company and the avatar of Simon, we saw how positive he was and realized that we were with the right person !!!
It was sooooo exciting! Because all the correspondence was conducted via whatsapp, it was still required to transfer a 20% deposit for the safari via bank transfer. We were really worried!
But after we transferred the money and asked if there could be any problems, Simon said not to worry about anything and wait for the trip !!! And as a result, the whole safari was without a single excitement !!!!
Our safari was for 4 days (3 nights) and we could only afford a minivan car. But a land cruiser is recommended because the suspension is better and the roads are not all good. And the price for us differed significantly. Therefore, we chose a minivan! And how happy we were when we saw the Land Cruiser! :) Simon made such a nice upgrade for us !!!
By the way, when Simon found out that we would arrive in Nairobi a couple of days before the safari and wanted to go to the Giraffe Center, Simon offered us a driver-guide for free (we pay only for the entrance). We were flattered !!!! But they refused, because they rented an apartment nearby).
And yet !!! Simon, while we were discussing the safari in the WhatsApp, clarified what drinks we drink, I wrote that we drink beer) and when we got into the car, beer was waiting for us in the mini-fridge !!! Service!!!
In general, we liked this SERVICE !!! Delight!!! We didn’t care about anything from the time we got into the car and until our journey through the parks of Kenya ended, which will remain in memory for a lifetime !!!!
I will also say that the driver Peter turned out to be a professional !!! He is calm, answered all our questions and, most importantly, he drove perfectly !!!! Peter saw any animal a mile away and tried to get as close as possible. Our knowledge of English is at a low level, but Peter explained everything simply and clearly, sometimes repeating the same thing in different words several times.
There were no delays during the whole route.
In general, guys! If you, like us before preparing for the safari, do not know which company to choose, please contact Simon! Kenya Safaris Holiday! You will be in good hands! He organizes everything)
Ps
The animals are shy and will rarely come closer than 10-15 meters. Therefore, be sure to take your binoculars with you! And if there are good optics for the camera, then it's generally great. Well, learn English, with it you will learn and understand a lot more :) Although the lack of knowledge of the language should not stop you from such a wonderful experience)response / report this review
