Description

Jitokeze Wamama Wafrika was founded following the vision of Philipine Chepkoech Kidulah, a native of West Pokot county in Northwestern Kenya, who having experienced the impact of droughts on the food system and peace in her community, chose to work with vulnerable women in the community in order to build their capacity to access food and income in a sustainable manner, in 2010 she was joined by Christine Buettgen, Christine Reiher, Keela Keeping and Selina Chepkorir Mayodi and together they founded Jitokeze Wamama Wafrika.

Jitokeze Wamama Wafrika has partnered with Empowerment Works a US based 501c3 nonprofit organization in order to receive tax deductable donations.
