It will amuse you with the creativity displayed at the garden, right from the entrance you meet a great artwork.
To the amazing seats within the garden and the cool serene environment

It's an ideal place to relax within Nairobi cbd. The place has a cool climate due yo trees planted in it. It has an easy of access because it is surrounded by roads.
It's also secure because it's adjacent to Central police post

This is the only place in Nairobi city you can sit, relax or have your packed lunch. It has chairs, a toilet and a smoking zone. Can't recommend for a date since it is a bit noisy and always crowded. However, being at the middle of city, you cant find a better place for fresh air, or a space to sit under a shade to take a nap or turn several pages or chapters of your book

A very nice place for your, lunch, date. Cool just off Moi avenue, giving an easy access to a main road. There is a good security and it is also cool and interesting. There is adequate parking for both public and private vehicles.
Plenty of trees in the garden provide adequate shade for all people.

It is a nice place to relax. May be rather noisy and congested at times, but that doesn't detract from its general usability as a place for some quiet reflection and relaxation.
Where else within the Nairobi CBD can you sit and relax?

Noisy public preaching and hawking, (in)frequent "random" and "friendly" cop searches, pickpockets, small cons. Generally a good spot to smoke and chill a while though.

A great place to take a breather while hustling; free & public. I am not sure it's very secure after 6 pm (after dark)

Plenty of sitting areas, lush greenery and a generally relaxed atmosphere. A bit Small and could also use a little garbage collection considering it's not heavily littered. Barely passable public washrooms. Beware of urchins at certain times.

A good park to stop and relax under tree during the day. There are many people preaching Christian gospel at lunch time.

A good place to sit as you wait for a friend in Nairobi. Could do with a little help from the government and other stakeholders to promote talent

Cool and quiet public park. Doesn't inspire safety and better not to visit alone. To be completely avoided after dark.

While the park is indeed populated sometimes it suffers from poor cleaning. I would recommend against using the public restrooms there. Next to park are bus stages, trips to Tanzania and other places, so its an active place for travellers.
