This is home turf. Java Adams has held a special place in my heart over the last decade and a half PR so. In the last 4 years it has grown in significance as I was able to spend all leave days writing assignments at the corner somewhere. The waiters are warm and caring and the food is great. Parking can be a little headaches especially over lunch but I am lucky I walk there most times.
Yesterday 10/5/2018 I visited your restaurant. I ordered a steak pie which was very very flaky and dry (even on the inside). I complained about it because I was highly doubting the freshness. The waitress called the floor manager (I guess), and he insisted that there's no way the pie would not be fresh because the restaurant ALWAYS throws out any food left over at the end of the day. I was not convinced, and he offered me an apple cinnamon cake, which I had no choice but to accept anyway. I had to eat something. Right? Fast forward 9 hours later, I've woken up at 3 AM with cramps and a running stomach. I'm 100% sure that it's because of the pie. I also want to point out the waitress who served us (a lady with lots of spots and pimples on her face) had a really nasty attitude. She even had the audacity to tell me that I should eat my pie with tomato sauce so that it doesn't feel/taste dry.
To cut the long story short, let me say I am highly disappointed by the service I got yesterday. You need to serve clean and fresh food. Also train your waiters better. Giving smart comments to customers is a big NO NO.
FYI, I frequent other Java houses, but I've not gotten such a bad experience there.
Wonderful place! Very hospitable. They have maintained the standards for along time.
The ambience is magnificent, the refreshing drinks and snacks make you want to make a second order. The WiFi connection is also super fast.
Java is overrated!! Chicken wings that got small ass drumsticks like those on a quail!! The fresh juice flat!! Want any of the above, visit dream bean instead
I love this branch more than any other. It is very spacious and somehow I find the food here much better. The wifi connection is quite impressive as well.
Great place to have an early morning breakfast meeting. It's clean, quiet and above all you still get the same great Java Coffee and Java Breakfast. Parking is usually not a problem as there is ample parking for a small fee (if you are not staying for a long time)
The price you pay is too much for the quality.
Others and better options around.
Service need to be improved.
Not only in this one Java House, but in all of them.
Very cool, my favorite Java shop, a bit slow of late but better than most others. Parking normally readily available except Fridays as they share with the Mosque.
Amazing food and top notch service! I can't wait to go back!!
Great! Was served by a gentleman called Stephen. Very hard working and kind. Food was on time so I really like the place
Great for kids. Not so gpod for working. Busy surroundings. Good ambiance.
Great restaurant. It's a bit pricey however the portions of food are good. Menue caters for all kinds of diets. A great place to have gatherings and or meetings, dates or outings
A bit boxed in but excellent food n coffee as is the norm in all Java's
Food is fabulous and the "dawa" is excellent. My only gripe is that service is very slow.
The place is warm and cozy. I applaud the fact that they maintain the high standard of service in Java outlets.
Great place to find simple "western" food. Great shakes, large portions. More expensive than local food but definitely enjoyable
Service could be better. Staff take too long to attend to you. Food is consistent with other Java outlets. Good.
Great place to have a drink, light snack or a full meal. Seating available inside and outside. Extensive menu for food & drinks.
A good outlet for various stores including Tuskys supermarket, Total Petrol station, chemists, a post office, etc
Great coffee and food with indoor and outdoor seating. Great service.
Nice sort of hidden location. In back corner downstairs of shopping center. Would be good location to work on laptop. A couple super markets in this center
For starters I am totally crazy for Java so my review is probably biased. If you haven't tried it, well it's comfy, good meals and coffee. Plus the service is impeccable
The place is quiet and ideal if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the town, the service is good as is the menu and the prices are friendly
Service took too long, and my soft drink was opened at the counter while I was seated outside at the verandah
This place is very quiet, it gives you the space you want on whether you finish your work on your laptop while taking tea. Has also free WiFi.
Just love it .it's not fake when am there feel like am away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi
Java house has the best cappuccino in Nairobi (so far). The food selection is also pretty good.
