If there is one thing that keeps me going back to java is the chocolate fudge cake and the salted caramel ice cream (sweet tooth problems).
The ambience is amazing with a lot of sitting space both inside and outside. Pretty fast Wi-Fi connection and functional sockets available incase your device runs low on battery. The place is amazing for dinner, dates, breakfast, day out with kids(there's a kids corner). Service is pretty slow though But other than that everything else is A1

A not so good experience from this place. My wife got food poison from salad eaten here. We shared a meal but luckly I didnt eat the salad. Other food items were good but service could be better

Kenya is not a great cheese country: they all taste like chewy cheddar. unfortunately, about half of the menu in java house (salads, sandwiches, burgers) seems to have one obligatory component: cheese

Java house is one of my favorite dinner spots. They open quite early and have a large selection for breakfast. They also serve wraps, sandwiches, tortillas, burgers and steaks. My favorite dishes are mushroom steak and Ben's burger. Their drinks selection is vast, ranging from all types of teas and coffees to fresh fruit juices, milkshakes and lemonades. It's fair to say Java house caters for everyone's taste!

Selection of coffee are surprisingly excellent. Malindi chai latte and masala tea are quite good. Selection of pastries and cake are quite variable. Candied ginger scone and banana cake are quite tasty.

Large seating capacity. Inside and outside. Good menu. The chicken burger and chips was excellent. It's a nice place to go with kids. There is a kids corner.

Pretty appalling. Fans running at a low speed hence it was boiling inside. The milkshake had ice crystals and tasted below average.
The Red Velvet cake was soft, however the cream tasted horrid, and the cake didn't taste like much.
I've given two stars instead of one as the staff were friendly.

Great decor and comfortable seating space. Food is on the pricier side, but quality not as good as one would expect. I ordered the pepper steak and fries - steak was not as juicy as expected, and gravy was very dry.

Generally slow service - had to wait almost half an hour for the bill to be brought. Considering this is a coffee house, it was quite surprising to not be asked whether or not I'd like some coffee or dessert after the meal. Some brushing up on customer service definitely required.

On the bright side, children are well taken care of; high chairs are available, and the mini playground is a good addition.

Unlike many Javas, this one seems and looks different. The decor and design is pleasant and its very spacious and airy. You can sit outside of enjoy the cool air conditioned interior.

Worst services ever! Employees aren't motivated to be happy with serving customers, and most of them serve customers according to their ethnicity, the lighter the skin the better the service. I personally have timed them twice how long it'll take them to attend to me. I sat down there for a good 40 minutes before they realized I was there. So having a big name doesn't necessarily mean a good place.
