The place has potential but for the months I've visited there's been theft, lost an iPhone, two jackets in different occasions. Then they say the cameras are not working! If of happened once then its can be a mistake, but three times? The music is good but if they can't build a culture of trust they will loose patrons. Also keep an eye on your change, sometimes waiters will give you less balance

Good food joint. A little clumsy and lacking in space and comfort on the fridges of busy superhighway.
I have seen similar joints grow without sacrifice of space and comfort along the same superhighway. Jambo has to rethink their space in 3 years time.response / report this review -

They discriminate young people. This is not the place for youth and they wont treat you nicely. Had a terrible experience twice with rude waiter. Management needs to be strict on quality of service.

One star is even generous. They discriminate Young people. Apart from our food taking forever They brought me wine in a whiskey glass n refused to change also boiling point water to wash hands. N very un apologetic about it If you're 30 and below keep off but if you're old and surviving on pension this the place for you. Old to them means rich.

If you are looking for a good time in the evening and you love listening to Mugithi, this is one place you should visit on the weekends. For those that don't listen to Mugithi, or are looking for a different genre of music, Jambo Grill has another side bar where such music is played. The prices are relatively cheap and the food is sumptuous, though you have to make an order and wait for a few minutes for it to be prepared

Most delicious ribs on Thika road if you ask me. They have the best grills. Affordable food and drinks. Good for groups too.

Great meat, especially the dry fry. Bad reputation of pick pockets on the dance floor of late, mostly ladies who pretend to dance with you. Also some reports of patrons being drugged. I would be careful in this place, especially when it's crowded.

This is one restaurant along Thika road that has stood the taste of time. Live band Wednesday and Sunday compliments your jambo grill experience. Ooh yes, and the grilled chicken that is ready done within 10 minutes of your order👍

It is years but no facelift, rugged floor, worn out decor, dirty windows, dusty parking, very poor bathrooms, in proportional chairs. Just needs a little different touch and it can be a good place.
