  Ideal place for weekend, overnight stay enroute to Masai Mara or just a day trip with friends and family. Very historical place and beautiful view of the Lake Elementaita and Sleeping Warrior. Nature walk all the way to the Lake not to be missed. Bird watchers heaven. Only 2 hours drive from Nairobi.

  We stayed in three lodges during our stay in Kenya and this was our least favorite. The rooms are dull and out-dated. The staff was a bit surly but still offered good service. They tried to ask us for 25 USD each just to walk to the lake (20 min walk), we were insulted by this and therefore didn't pay.
