Worst experience ever. Imax was great at the beginning-customer service was unmatched,they had a lounge with sofas and screens for those waiting for screenings,and movies began on time.
Now you wait on the stairs out the front,delays and reschedules are normal,the staff is anything but kind and helpful,oh and the student discounts are no more..did i mention they have 2/3 of the rows reserved for vip tickets?and that they are damn expensive and quite sadly usually empty ?? The screen is great for the 3D experience. You actually feel like you are part of the movie.
But something bit me in the cinema hall. I left with a swollen and itchy arm twice in a row. Not going back there ever. They should keep the place cleaner.response / report this review -

Large curve 3D screen, great movie experience. The down side, they turned me and my friends down when we arrived with our kids to watch the movie Infinity Wars. Yes, we understood it was rated 16+, but quite disappointed when we came back later to find even younger kids than ours were allowed in. Why the double treatment?? One of the best 3D screens in Nairobi. Service sucks though

The theater was clean and not stuffy as I thought it would be.
The screen was huge. Like huge in a nice way.
On the downside, the delays of the movie hours are wanting. They are not timely. A movie that we paid to watch at 3pm was open for show at 6pm. Three hours later man! That is ridiculous especially if on a tight schedule. Other than that, the experience was okay.response / report this review -

The screen is wonderful. Epic size of the 3D screen. The washrooms are pretty decent as well as the snacks on offer. They also offer caramel popcorn. However, they could have better management of movies in terms of ticketing. There have been cases of double bookings for certain movies. They also changed the pricing. 3D glasses could use a boost

The movie was great but the 3D glasses are a bit blurry. Management should look into that. Also, why should a movie start late? What's the point of schedules then? Please separate the buying of tickets from the snack outlets. It just slows the whole process and makes for stagnant long queues
The complimentary drinks were a nice touch though.

The selling of tickets at the food stands kicks the day off horribly for those who had bought tickets online and just want snacks but now have to line up for forever. It's hard to appreciate much after that. The snack selection itself leaves a lot to be desired.
Do not seat in the first few rows. The 3D experience is comprised, even none existent towards the screen edges.
The sound is mediocre, and definitely not top notch surround.

Been a huge fan simply because it's in the CBD, great service. Huge screen and comfortable seats. Booking efficiency, Clean theater and well ordered. My only concern is seats reserved for people who book online. Other than that everything else is great.

The Kenyan Cinema that started the cinema going revolution by offering affordable rates and awesome premiere packages. It is the most conveniently located cinema in Kenya at the heart of the CBD, Mama Nina street. It has a lounge and bar which often offers cool package deals. They have a food court with all the treats and drinks you need to enjoy a love. Of late, customers have had issues with 'deceptive' and overly complicated rates and at times quality issues with their cheapest screenings.

Good movie place, the attendants though don't have to keep bugging customers to show them receipts everytime. I had to remove mine thrice. Not good. But it's a good chill spot to enjoy a movie

Choose a movie with bomb VFX and you won't be disappointed. Comfortable seats too.

They promise that premium tickets will include Vodka and Muffins but when you get there, they say that the offers were removed. This has happened to me 3 times. Premium tickets purchased only to learn that premium offers weren't available. Apart from that, the IMAX experience here is unmatched.

It's nice. Not that big. It has a lounge and happy hour during the day. It's not often full but that's okay because you don't feel like it's small. They have average customer service. The toilets are average too. For snacks, they have regular popcorn and caramel popcorn, samosas, meat pies, chocolate and Smarties. For drinks, they have water and carbonated drinks

Experience the best movie shows at ANGA Imax situated at 20th century plaza. Movie theater having high quality sounds system, Extremely large and curved screen, very comfortable seats and customer service throughout the movie. Grasp a little popcorn 🍿 and a drink and enjoy either a 3D or 2D movie depending on the schedule.

Watched Ghost in the Shell. Encountered very friendly staff. For once the theatre was not freezing cold. The movie started right on time and it was just an enjoyable experience.
