It is a real natural park. And if you are few people better ask for a guide at reception otherwise you won't enjoy much if you are new.
The feeding time as well make the tour more enjoyable which starts at 3pm.

For starters, it takes about an hour and a half to cycle through the park so dedicate about two hours to the activity as a whole. About the entry fee, I don't remember the exact price but it can't exceed Ksh. 500. It's way cheaper to visit as a school group, so that may be important to mention.

They only give bikes to people who know how to cycle so if you have someone who doesn't, they won't be able to go on the trail.

The bikes offered are in great condition so that shouldn't be something to worry about. However, ensure to take the contact of the guy there just in case something happens to the bike while you're on the trail. He brought us a bike when ours got a flat tire.

It's best to have one person lead the group from the front and another leader at the back, just for safety purposes, especially if you're with young teens or young people in general.

They are also a couple of animals that you might encounter through the trail. It's a great place!

Great place to go and take family or friends. They have a variety of animals. There are feeding times at 4 and 4:30. You can get to see the animals better. Very green and cool! Informational tour too. Its not very long so you can be done within an hour or two maximum.

Awesome park! Great place to come for a family nature trail. The park has several viewing points like, snake park, crocodile park, giraffe centre, fish ponds, butterfly pavilion and animal sanctuary. Monkeys welcome you and will accompany you all around the park hahaha! I had a blast!

Nice activity to do in Mombasa. Costs 500 ksh for residents. You can go on the various nature trails or look at the animals around the park. They have different feeding times starting with the giraffes at 3pm, hipos at 4 and then the crocodiles shortly after. It's best to time your visit with these if you are interested in the entertainment and they have a guide
They also have a butterfly section, it's best to visit that side when it is sunny, that's when the butterfly are most active.
There aren't that many animals, aside from the mentioned ones there are some onyx, fish, birds, snakes, tortoise and the resident monkeys.

I was planning to rate this park with 3 stars; however since i was able to feed the giraffes in this place i can not describe how i enjoyed so, i leave you some pictures to describe some of the experiences i had. We paid about US$15 pp for the entrance, make sure you bring local currency. I only had close contact with the tortoise, monkey and giraffes, hence my rating; i would have liked to close the other animals.

3 times more for tourists. $15!!! I will never pay for an apartheid system. The number of foreigners who dont go because of the pricing is large.

great nature trail.. a wide variety of animals on show..monster tortoisessome moving stories about the animals on show, especially the hippos though they at times hide for hours on endbest time to visit is in the afternoon to watch the crocs feed! quite a show!

This place is just heaven on earth. You won't believe it, it's a man made park, created when the cement company completed the excavation process, they developed the park as a rescue center for animals. The environment is very serene, very cool and sincerely beautiful. If you love nature then this is a must visit anytime you are in coast.

The nature trail provides a good venue for exercise fanatics. Generally, the facilities do not offer much but one is able to do a bike trail or a walk in tandem with nature.

it was a wonderful experience with my family. We went during feeding, so we saw the giraffes, crocodiles and hippos being fed. We loved it. The prices were also reasonable. We recommend it. It is a haven away from all the chaos of traffic and other busy life.

I always visit Haller park. It is great for kids as they learn a lot about animals. The prices are reasonable, the tour guides are well mannered. But given that I already know my way around I rarely need one but I always notice that they are few and some people have to wait.

The lady at the gate was very rude. I will advise you call before driving there as you might not be able to see any animal. All animals in the advert aren't there. we were able to see the elegant giraffes, the oldest two huge tortoises, waterbuck and only two little snakes. I can guarantee you that you won't be able to see all the animals advertised. Big lies!!
