  Always wanted to stay at Governors Camp and it more than lived up to our expectations. This place is amazing! No fences so the amimals r free to roam in and out of camp(under the watchful eyes of the animal guards) . All the staff r wonderfull nothing is too much trouble for them. Also got to meet Johnathon Scott there filming for Big Cat Live ! Totally wonderfull stay cant wait to go back again

  It nested in a forested area along the popular Mara River. It has good proximity to the wildebeest crossing area as they migrate annually from Maasai Mara to Serengeti. You need to visit Governors Camp

  Fabulously located on the Mara River, the main Governor's camp offers you the best of hospitality with the old world charm. As it is the Masai Mara just stole our hearts and blew our minds, and the Governor's camp just enhanced the whole experience for us.

  We have been to the Masai Mara four times. Each time we go we split our time between Little Governors', (this time it was Governors') and another camp in a different part of the Mara or adjoining conservancy. To date we haven't found another camp that offers a complete package as good as Governors' camps offers. When you take into consideration proximity of game, quality of guiding, food, accommodations and basic atmosphere, Governors' is pretty tough to beat. I already have my fifth trip booked.

  Fantastic lodge. Great food very friendly staff. Animals pass through the camp. Hippo's grass outside your tent at night.
