Historical Background

Etangi Seventh Day Adventist Church started as a Sabbath School of Gekomu II Seventh Day Adventist Church in November 11th 1995, after an organized and successful evangelical campaign initiated by Pr. Njuguna of the then Nakuru Central Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Inauguration

The church was inaugurated as a fully-fledged church on 26th December 1999 by Pr. Nyamache, who was by then the Church Development Director at South Kenya Conference, with a membership of 97 (ninety seven) baptized members.

Current Membership

Over the years, the church has grown through a series of Evangelical Campaigns, Crusades, Revivals etc done annually where members are harvested and brought to the Lord's Vineyard to a tune of 231 (Two hundred and thirty one) members currently.
