Planning a trip to volunteer in Africa can be very exciting, but also it can be just as overwhelming. Encounter Local presents you the best opportunity to have an amazing experience that comes with volunteering in Africa, whilst getting to interact with the local people and learn about their culture and lifestyle. We have a well-structured system of operations to facilitate airport transfers, accommodation, meals, project placements and weekend excursions; up until the departure of a volunteer. Our volunteer coordinators will be there throughout your time to support you in the lead up to your departure from your home country to the very end of your placement. They will also take you through a detailed induction session which will prepare you to resourcefully lend a hand and as well gain and give as much as possible from this experience.
