The place is a classic example of a hidden gem by the Lake Turkana. The resort is situated in a serene environment with a sustainable concept. The workers are very professional and friendly. The meals well cooked and flavorful. The rooms by the Lake( boma) are well constructed to mimick the Turkana people way of life. I highly recommend this place for people who want to relax in z tranquil environment. Another plus is that the resort can always organise transport to and from Lodwar.

I ate chicken here while stepping on sand barefoot, the food was delicious I would definitely recommend it not forgetting to mention the cool breeze from the lake

This is a great place. Rolf, the owner, is a gracious and convival host and the staff is very helpful. The food is well prepared, delicious, and served al fresco. Rolf arranged for a driver to meet me in Oldwar, a short plane ride over from Nairobi, and take me back at the end of my tour here. If you, like me, are a tourist very interested in archaeology, anthropology, or geology, then this is your place to go on Lake Turkana.
