Affordable.
Amazing food within the backpackers but it gets harder outside the place.
Walking distance to the beach.
Music is shut down at 11PM.

Liquor is expensive and they charge a corkage fee.

Very nice place. Nice pool. Nice ambiance. Very clean, friendly staff and owner. Pros : if you stay 3 nights 4th is free. If you stay 5 nights, 6th and 7th are free. Cons : music loud late in the night. The place could be a bit bigger.

This was my favourite backpacking experience so far. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. I came with my boyfriend and stayed a week (was meant to be 2 nights!). We stayed in one of the cottages which was perfect.

The communal areas are really nicely done. There are lots of places to chill, they have books and board games too. There was a really good mixed crowd of ages and nationalities and I was happy not to feel old (at 30) like you would in some hostels.

The food is really good here and the prices are great. The bar has a happy hour and loads of different cocktails. The bathroom block is very clean and modern.

Definitely recommend this place for people who would like to meet fellow travelers, share stories and have fun.

We didn't expect to have such a poor time here given the other good reviews. Firstly our room; the bed was as big as the floor space, the AC we was supposed to have never worked, the sink would block & the toilet smelt damp. Upon leaving this compound I was hassled non-stop down to the beach only to be threatened by a local with a knife for not buying his merch. The beach boys on this whole beach are a pain in the ass and really ruined our experiences. We moved up to somewhere with a private beach to better our stay.

A positive about this place was the atmosphere was nice all day & night with friendly staff

Good for nothing with swimming pool with bar. But really nothing. It's hard to go out at night without transportation. Problem is when it's coming they don't know. I met twice same situation. Waiting 40min over.
Meal in there.. breakfast it's ok. But every item is iced thing for cooking. Even if I got diarrhea after veg curry. Worst memory in gusethouse or backpackers.

Affordable accommodation with the current exchange rates (€-ksh), very good prices on Beer and food compared to others.
Very welcoming, helpful and friendly staff, everything easy and the food is nice!
The place (with pool!) itself is beautiful, just some things could maybe use a more proper cleaning (hammocks, lamps, some curtains. A little dusty) or repair (some sofas / pillows are a little "used" and torn.
Beds in the dorms are not to small and very comfy, no bigger problem with Bedbugs:) (if you travelled a little in Kenya, you know what I mean)
Also: beach is close!

Super Place! This Place is amazing. Relaxing and connected to other people and wordtraveller. Its Nice and clean and the pool is just a gift! Place to go..even just for a drink and have a talk with the nice barman or the other people there. ENJOY!!

Decent food, price, facilities and atmosphere. Showers were never hot, but the rest made up for it. Definitely stop here if you're in the area and ask for the diving cruise of you have a day free. I'll be back.
