Visited the place last Sunday at 9am. We found the staff in a meeting but we were still able to make an order. We ordered coffee, pastries, waffles and juice. The pastries were really good and I love how soft my doughnut was. The waffles tasted like freshly baked cake, so sweet. The staff were so nice and even items on the menu. The ambience is nice. Overall, the place was welcoming. I would go there again and again. Oh, I was surprised that they still had a lot of people coming in even though it was a Sunday early morning.

What a great coffee shop, owner managed by Chris. He has a great coffee shop and provides some very special tea, coffee and food treats - a must for any tourist to experience. Buy some amazing quality Kenyan and Ethiopian coffee to take him!

Atmosphere is great. Coffee is the best I've had in town from a café. Pastries are frozen 🙁.

Oh, and their sign on Riverside Dr. is hideous. Gotta update that sucker.

I had the best waffles I have ever had in Nairobi and a strawberry latte to rival all others. The waffle portion was big enough to be shared by 2 even 3 people but if you have a sweet tooth like me, 😊 Be a little selfish and indulge yourself.

Two different coffee blends and five different extraction methods means you will have plenty of different options when they ask "How would you like your coffee."

Other great things: truly wheelchair friendly, and a unisex/family bathroom.

Amazing coffee and service. The best coffee hands down in Nairobi. Java House is like Starbucks and Connect is like Blue Bottle, comparing to the US coffee scene. The owner poured our Chemex this afternoon and the taste of the coffee was incredible with tons of flavor. You can tell they pay very close attention to the roast and service of their coffee.
