  Chwele is the second largest open air market in Kenya after Karatina. There is variety of food staffs, ie arrows roots, sweet and Irish potatoes, all kind of cereals, all kind of veges. Birth rate is @ 84% while fertility rate is at the age of 13yrs, while mortality rate is at 40%

  Great scenery. If you are using public transport they end at 730pm and the centre goes into hibernation by 9pm

  Doing some agricultural activities in this area. The area is rich in Maize, Potato both Irish and Sweet potatoes, All variety of beans, Onions and cabbages only to name but a few

  A very vibrant small town in the foot steps of Mt. Elgon. It receives relatively high amounts or rainfall during the rainy seasons.
  A variety of food products are available at relatively low prices compared to other parts of the country.
  The main market days are ; Mondays and Fridays although the market is open throughout the week.
