Good ambience. Tasty food really good steak. Friendly service. Would definitely visit again!

Fabulous! In my opinion, the best airport in the world!! The agent comes to cross your name off the passenger list and comes to get you when it's time to leave. In the meantime you enjoy a great cappuccino in the shade with a gentle breeze and lovely flowers and plants. You walk out onto the gravel airstrip and climb into the plane and you're off.

They imply that you'll have your meal while having this spectacular view of the runway. Not true. This is just a bar/restaurant that HAPPENS to be near a runway. The view of said runway is blocked by a live fence in between the two, which is even fine because there's nothing worth seeing on the other side.

Pro: Pizza is good 👌🏾 Prepared in a traditional oven and super tasty.

But yeah, I really hate that the runway thing keeps getting thrown in in ads for this place.

Great place for a stopover. The food is always great and the nice ambience.
I've stopped here on many occasions but can't shake off the impression that the service given is okay, not exceptional. Maybe I am just always unlucky to be served by people having a bad day or they just do not like the way I look 🙄.
Otherwise, it's definitely worth the effort to stop here for a meal.

My first time to visit there. As it so happened I arrived around breakfast time. Halima, the house hostess met me with a flourishing welcome, and having chosen their outdoor seating option, I ordered a full English Breakfast and a house coffee. Planes were constantly landing and taking off..this is a very exotic and unusual experience..Breakfast was well presented and delicious. Please pay them a visit next time you find yourselves out Nanyuki sides.

Barney's is a great stopover en route to Nanyuki or somewhere further on. The atmosphere is delightful with the runway right next to the restaurant. The food and drinks are really good, particularly the wood fire pizzas! The gift shop is also a nice touch, although you can expect tourist prices. We will definitely be stopping here on future trips through the area! The kids also love the playground on site.

Actually a restaurant, partly open-air, with good to excellent food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. Recommended. Try the pizza oven.

Barney's is a family favorite. The kids love to watch the planes take off at the airstrip right next to Barney's and that can be a bit loud for the parents. The food and service are both good.

Nice place to stop for a bite and a drink during your road trip. It's right off the main road by the little charming airstrip making it even more unique. I would have given them a 5 star if not only for the sub par service we received the one and only time I was there. The manager would have rescued the situation if she wanted to but she didn't put much of an effort :( . Oh well, its still a nice place which I recommend and I do plan to give it another chance
