  It's fast growing centre within a semi arid area where you can spend a quiet night without worrying much about your security Several ammenities like a functional public hospital , police station, model secondary school, modest hotels and lodgings are available and it's people warm and hospitableReligion is predominantly Muslims with few Christians.All Tribes available but predominantly Somalis,wardeis,Oromos, kambas etc in that order.
