Sublime experience. The Big Time Safari Limited is the best tour operator for trips in Kenya including Masai Mara. It offers pocket friendly budget tour packages and services are exclusive and excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and caring towards the tourists. The Big Time Safari camps are the best choice for all tourist and travellers. If fact we recommend this tour operator to all our friends and family members who wishes to visit Kenya. They are very quick in response and very good to their customers. They provide some of the finest superior quality game drives in Masai Mara.

We had a great guide. Saw the big 5. Just make sure you get them to give you timings of the game drives in advance. One of the days we had to argue with them as they were planning to have it only for a few hours.

We had a Bing long reviewing praising Martha in the office, and Ben our guide but Google has some character limit. We'll post it somewhere else!

Overall really good not-so-expensive safari trip. Saw lots, got used to the bumpy roads.

Around twenty lions, millions of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, crocs and even a leopard.

    Great trip.

We didn't book anything it advance, just wandered into the Nairobi office and booked a Safari to Amboseli. It was the lowest price we could find and we were afraid it was going to be bad. But everything went fine, although we joined a group on the way. Our driver was nice and knew a lot about the animals, he also drove relatively safely. We were lucky and only had 2 more people in the van, which was very comfortable. The only thing that disappointed us was the camp. It was in bad condition and neither toilet, shower nor sink were working. But that's probably what you get if you book the cheapest safari you can find. It was ok for 2 nights and the extremely good food compensated the terrible accomodation. After we were back in Nairobi the nice people in the office even helped us with planning the rest of our trip (telling us were to buy bus tickets, letting us use their computers etc) without any additional charges.
All in all I would totally recommend for budget travellers, you don't get any luxus but the people are nice and you get to do a standard safari.
