AMURT in Kenya was founded in 1993, registered as a Non-Profit Organization, and runs over 20 projects in 16 counties spread within the Central, Coastal, Eastern, Nairobi, Rift and Western regions including; Homa Bay, Kajiado, Kiambu, Kilifi, Kitui, Kwale, Lamu, Machakos, Makueni, Marsabit, Mombasa, Nairobi, Nakuru, Samburu and Siaya, and counties to achieve its strategic goal of improving health care, education, youth empowerment, improving individual and group skills on income generating activities, initiating Agro-forestry, farming and environmental sustainability projects serving over 150,000 people countrywide.
