Pathetic food. Property has run down. It runs for few hours with generator then no more power. Limited hot water. Actually no value for the amount they charged us .
Good things about the hotel is Mt. Kilimanjaro clear view and friendly staff. Apart from that I don't see anything fascinating there.

My experience with the accommodation here was not good. The room was dirty when I arrived, carpet grubby, muddy footprints on the bathroom floor & the bathmat was on the floor & very wet. There was no laundry bag, & I intended to use their laundry services.
I made mention of these issues to reception (on my way to dinner) & was told they would send someone to look into it.
When I got back to the room after a late dinner, I found that one muddy footprint was cleaned up but the other remained. A towel had been placed behind the toilet, guessing there was a leak which caused the wet floor. After a 12hr journey to get there I was just too tired to got back to reception (no phones in the rooms) I just gave up & went to bed. Next day it took 1hr & one complaint to reception to get a hot shower. Unimpressed.
Having said that the food was lovely, & some of the staff (predominantly the male staff) we're very helpful, friendly & welcoming. Most of the female staff, bar the lady who greeted us upon arrival, were less than friendly & borderline rude at times, making quite simple requests seem extraordinarily bothersome. Overall, disappointing.

One of the best resorts in Kenya particularly who are enjoying wildlife. Little bit away from main gate of Amboseli National Parkbut the location and the rooms and the birds are very good. The rooms are huge and specious and the ambiance is too good and rustic.

Clean, nicely designed and friendly staff! It has a nice view of Kilimanjaro mountain! The quality of food is good! The electricity is on at all times! They provide you with power adaptor! Wifi is only available in reception and bar!

Beautiful grounds and very comfortable room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the laundry service and a boxed picnic lunch. Food was tasty.

I can see Kilimanjaro at the hotel.
There are a lot of monkeys all over the hotel, and there are many monkey poop on the road so be careful when you turn off the carrier.
The warm water is only uncomfortable for a limited time, and the water is not well adjusted.

Rooms are setup as individual cottages. Great view of Mt Kilimanjaro in the mornings before clouds covers the view. Not too many lions to see at the game drive, we spotted the first on our 3rd day there.

This is one of the best lodges we've been to during our safari tours. Its beautiful. Comfy rooms. It is clean. good wifi. Friendly environment. But light and water is on schedule. which is understandable and quite ok with your safari agenda. Food is great as well and u get very nice view of Kilimajaro

Been there for 4 days and I really loved it. People there are friendly and you are welcome with a glass of cold juice and a warm towel to wipe your face and hands. Nice view of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the morning as you enjoy your morning tea. The place is simply amazing.
