We had a very nice first safari experience thanks to our guide David that took us on this trip! We saw so many animals and David had some nice insights and is very attentive and friendly. The camp was basic but good for this trip with nice staff and very clean tent and good bed. The car is the only thing you should take into consideration, it is not a new jeep. Its an older van with an open roof and worked well for the trip. David as a guide is highly recommended, he made out trip a very special ecperexperience!

Yesterday me and 4 friends were coming back from Masai Mara area to Nairobi to have dinner and then take our flight home. We were in a van of the company “Africa Home Adventure”.
During the way it started to rain and the traffic became very slow. After a couple of minutes, when we were next to the Riff Valley our driver decided to overtake some cars so he moved to the other lane (uphill) but a truck was going downhill (in his lane). The lorry driver tried to stop, I even saw the smoke in the wheels but it was too late. It hit our van and we almost fall into the valley.
Fortunatelly, only one of my friends had some small cuts because of the window glass and I have a big swollen circle with a bruise on my leg starting to show.
The driver stopped another tourist van that offered to take us to the Tour company office. It was raining and the traffic became cahotic so honestly we just wanted to go away.
Around 300m later there was another accident. A big lorry fell into the valley and we believe that accident was due to ours, because after our crush the traffic stopped moving.
Finally this driver that helped us called our company and we met one member of the staff at the center where he was waiting us with a different car (a small one) and driver. He smiled the whole time, saying that it wasn’t a big deal and that it was the lorry’s driver fault. We couldn’t believe it. We all are drivers and we saw perfectly what happened. He just said “ok I’m sorry you can go to the airport if you want with him”, pointed out to the new driver.
We are ok but still in shock. I’m sorry for such a long text but I just want to let you know that if you are looking for a Tour company in Kenya NEVER choose “African Home Adventure”. In addition they charged me 23$ more when I payed the due balance at their office, saying that it’s because their rate change is different (apart from the 6% charge for paying by card, which I find it normal). When I tried to explain them that my card (Revolut) make the payment according to the exchange rate of the day they refused, I didn’t want to start our tour arguing so we didn’t reply and we payed.
By the way, the review posted by ABEDNEGOH KASUKI is totally fake, because in fact he works at this company, he is the one who laugh at us while we say we were going to write them bad reviews because of their treatment to us.
Seriously, there are hundreds of good and reliable safari and tours companies in Kenya but this one is not one of them.

We just came back from a trip to the Masai Mara, lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Park safari(January 2018). It was absolutely amazing, teeming with wildlife! Our guide and driver, Edward Soi, was truly fantastic and his many years of experience showed when he was able to find all the animals, i would recommend African Home Adventure Safaris for any one looking for the best and cheap budget camping safari in Kenya, and the Edward Soi driver guide.

We made a family trip to Masai Mara and it was the best decision we made since we had contemplated on either going to Masai Mara or bask by the beach in Mombasa. We were very fortunate at the level of competence shown by the staff, Abednegoh who is the manager coordinated everything promptly via phone calls and text messages. Day 1 began with George sending me and introductory text and a brief plan on how he was going to pick us from our hotel the following morning. With his versatile knowledge on Nairobi routes and traffic jams, he had impeccable timing which made us escape delays as we cruised out of Nairobi for Narok. George was such an amazing tour guide. My little niece would get tired and George did not hesitate to take a break from driving and rest by the roadside. He drove defensively, shared the road with the other drivers and pedestrians making our journey to Narok ( Masai Mara) a memorable one!!! Right before we arrived, George made a call to inform our host at the Enchoro wildlife Camp that we were almost there and that they should get ready to welcome us. By the time we arrived in Masai Mara the hosts were outside waiting for us,With Masai worrier dancing songs , they assisted us with carrying our bags and took us to our self contained tents ( with cold and warm showers!!!!!). We ate dinner, slept soundly while the very friendly security guards kept watch. We could here Hyenas growl from a far distance throughout the night - I thought that was pretty cool!!! The following day, George driver guide was already up, ensured the van was safe and in good shape for the safari. George's driver guide knowledge of the Masai Mara is just astonishing, I was in awe how he traversed such a vast land without the fear of getting lost (it's called experience). To say the least, he ensured we saw "The Big Five" except for the Rhino. He made sure we were comfortable all the time, he would at times stop and give us a lecture about all the interesting animals we came across. He ensured that we didn't disturb the animals, followed the right routes and generally very funny. George is an asset to this company indeed!!!! His selflessness made us enjoy the best family trip ever!!! i will always recommend African Home Adventure Safaris to any one want for the best budget camping adventure safari.
