CCD SCHOOL OF DANCE, BEDFORD
The playhouse project introduces designing performance spaces in which entertaining performances such as dance can be experienced within a performance environment, for example: a dance school and a theatre.
The site for the ‘playhouse’ project will focus on two buildings to the rear of The Higgins Art Gallery and Museum. The Higgins Sheds are located at 2a Castle Lane, Bedford and consist of two brick built buildings that are no longer in use. B...edford is a multicultural town with a rich cultural heritage therefore, I will be designing a contemporary performance space ‘children’s cultural dance school’ to occupy The Higgins Sheds.
These designs are design concepts of my project done when I was a student at the University of Bedfordshire, UK.
