Kind staff, they teached us how to write some words in Japanese!

If you arrive by train at Takayama station or have time whilst waiting for a train then please pop into i-Cafe. The staff are absolutely lovely and the cafe is so welcoming with a nice selection of drinks and food. We had a Japanese Caligraphy lesson whilst we were there. They have wifi and you can also charge your mobile or laptop etc.

Very overpriced coffee (500 yen) that is not very good at all. Additionally they only filled up the cup 2/3rds of the way. So if you want good coffee I implore you to go somewhere else. Try coffee don or takayama warajiya if you want much better coffee at a cheaper price.
