  緑化よこはまフェアが6/4までなのでバラが満開と聞いて行って来ました。ものすごい規模で、数え切れない程の品種が植えられています。とても綺麗でした。

  山下公園は、関東大震災(1923年9月1日)の復興事業として造成された震災復興公園です。復興のため、震災によって発生した震災瓦礫をここに集積し埋め立て造成し、1930年(昭和5年)3月15日に開園した。その5年後の1935年(昭和10年)3月に「復興記念横浜大博覧会」が盛大に開催され、国内外に復興をアピールした。よってこの公園は関東大震災からの復興のシンボルでもある。国有地。
