古民家カフェのような落ち着いた雰囲気。製麺所のうどん屋とは一線を画する。ぶっかけの薬味にはすだちがついている時期とレモンになっている時期があるので注意。

水曜どうでしょう四国八十八ヶ所完全巡拝Ⅱで、山田家でうどんを食べると札幌への帰りの飛行機に間に合わなくなるか、88番札所大窪寺まで回れず結願出来なくなるのをわかっていながら寄って食べたという、大泉洋さん率いる水曜どうでしょう班御用達のうどんの名店です。東京スカイツリータウンに山田家唯一の支店・東京ソラマチ店もオープンしました。

It's very famous for a reason, and you can imagine which one it is when people are going to drive a few extra kilometers, passing dozens of other udon restaurants along the way just to go to this one.

天ざる釜あげセットだったかな？うどんのコシがあって美味しかったですが、量は多めで、おいなりさんまで食べられませんでした。

ざるぶっかけと季節限定 冷やしうどん(デザート付)におでん♪ 麺は柔らかでコシがあり、ツルツルっといける！お出汁はいりこ･かつお･昆布出汁でアッサリ☆彡 おでんもよくお出汁がしみてる♪ 冷やしうどんのデザートはぜんざいとか甘味と思いきや珈琲ゼリーでした(^^♪
