  竹原町並み保存地区のすぐそばにありちょうど江戸時代から続く由緒ある住吉まつりに行きました。決して派手ではないですが風情ある趣のあるお祭りでした♪

  各地にある住吉神社は海沿いにありますが、竹原の住吉神社は川沿いにあります。
  昔は川ではなく、塩田だったそうです。
